Vaccination and Health procedures:
Pre-foaling:
Rhinopneumonitis (Pneumabort K) @ 5, 7 and 9 month of pregnancy
Rotavirus @ 8,9 and 10 month of pregnancy
EWT, Flu-Rhino, Rabies & West Nile 2-4 weeks prior to foaling
Open Caslicks
De-worm 60 to 90 day intervals
Post-foaling:
These procedures will be performed as needed- cassocks, teeth floated, vaccinations, de-worming, uterine culture, uterine biopsy.
Uterine cytology, culture and biopsy may be performed on mare if needed for reproductive soundness
Pregnancy Status:
Pregnancy checks will be performed at 14, 24 and 34 days post ovulation. We will phone you when your mare checks 14 days in foal and when she is checked safe in foal at 34 days.
Please call ahead to schedule the departure of you mare. All outstanding balances are due before departure with no exceptions.
